Big Mamma

I have no idea if people still visit my blog or not but I was sitting here tidying my desk and thought that I would post an update.

All is going seemingly well with the pregnancy and I am told that the baby is bigger than average but growing beautifully. It obviously has my genes then. :) I wont lie and say that it has been easy but it hasn’t been too bad. I am now experiencing back pain and am feeling really heavy. Funny that! I weigh 3kgs heavier now than when I started the Big John Challenge which a) frustrates me because I will have to lose weight again BUT b) is pretty good because I would have hated to be this weight to start with and then falling pregnant so it is quite a double edged sword.

I only have a couple of weeks left to go at work as I am finishing early for my exams and then it will be 6 weeks before the baby is due. Pooks and I are super excited and sometimes we have to remember to stop talking about it so much as it can be boring for others!

Anyway my baby shower invites have gone out, our nursery is looking so cute and new and sparkly and well now I guess it is the waiting game. It is starting to feel very real though! Each pimple that I receive reminds me that my hormones are not normal right now and that something is growing inside of me. I feel it kick all of the time and once it rudely kicked while I was singing!

So that is all from me for now. How you are well and not too cold! I am certainly enjoying only being able to wear tracksuit pants most of the time. :)
