My new friend

I went to Aqua Aerobics the other night. It was interesting. I haven’t done it for awhile. At one point I needed a drink as I needed a break which was nice. I certainly didn’t feel out of place in the class as there were women of all shapes and sizes. I have asked Pooks if I can make it a weekly thing and he said of course.

I haven’t been posting much as I am sure you have noticed. I am trying to get my summer school assignments out of the way before Christmas and before I leave work for the year! As you can see by the photo’s it is kind of hard as I have a new friend who likes to spend time with me. His name is Billy Slater and he is 11 weeks old. I got him when he was 8 weeks old from the RSPCA. Isn’t he just the cutest most annoying little thing you have ever seen?

Anyway I have to get back to my assignment but will write soon. I haven't done my Sunday weigh in yet because to be honest I am more concerned about finding 2000 words.

Great to hear from you Shell and to meet your new chum. What a cutie little Billy Slater is.

Sounds like you were worked hard at the aqua aerobics. Good on you. It is such a challenging time of year to keep up the good habits you have been developing, but I know you'll give it your best shot.

Hope you find those 2000 words.

I'll have to tell Mike the name of your kitten. Rachel and Mike have Shiraz and now Guiness. Wine and Beer! Mike actually was the one who named the cats and he also named our dog Maverick. Seems he has a knack for naming the animals that he claims he doesn't like.
Glad you are back enjoying the swimming. It's relaxing and you can always do it. Eventually, you'll probably enjoy water aerobics.
I have a niece who started swimming again at age 45 she is constantly taking ribbons for her freestyle/and relay racing.
Wish I had half the energy of you young people.
I'm beginning to realize what Christmas has been like for you all these years. Our temps today 79 degrees.
Today we are hoping the shuttle will be able to be launched. It's such an awsome sight! We walk down to the beach and look up. Night launches are absolutely beautiful. This will be in the afternoon and sometimes the cloud coverage blocks some of the flight, but it's still amazine and impressive.
